At Sognefjord Cabins, we believe in transparency and want to ensure our customers understand the reservation process and policies thoroughly. Please find our policy details below:

 

Payment Method:

We accept payments exclusively via bank transfer. We do not have the provision of online payments ready yet.

 

Reservation Process:

Upon finalizing your reservation, a confirmation email will be dispatched to your provided email address. This email will include all necessary information concerning the initial deposit payment and instructions for the remaining payment.

 

Initial Deposit:

The initial deposit required is 20% of the total amount. The relevant bank account details for the deposit transfer will be stated in the confirmation email. Please ensure this payment is made within 24 hours of placing the order. It is vital to note that failure to meet this deadline will result in the cancellation of your order.

 

In order to accurately link your payment to your reservation, please ensure the deposit is marked with your name and reservation code.

 

Balance Payment:

The remaining 80% of the total amount should be transferred upon your arrival. This payment should be made to the same account number as stated in the confirmation email.

 

Binding Deposit:

Please note, the initial deposit is binding and cannot be refunded after the payment has been made. Customers are solely responsible for verifying that the reservation dates are correct prior to deposit payment.

 

In light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation, if you are unable to travel, we will refund the deposit. However, we strongly advise securing insurance on your order.

 

Cancellation Policy:

If you wish to cancel your order, simply disregard the initial deposit payment. As stated earlier, your order will be cancelled automatically if we do not receive the deposit within 24 hours of placing the order. However, the deposit cannot be refunded once it has been paid.

 

Given the uncertainties surrounding Covid-19, exceptions to the above-mentioned rule may apply. If you wish to cancel your order post the payment of the deposit, please contact us immediately to process your cancellation.
